Bringing Digital Learning to Puravimala Tribal LP School, Amboori

In June 2025, Kindhearts initiated a donation drive to support digital education for the students of Government L.P. School, Puravimala. Thanks to the generosity of our well-wishers, the fundraising campaign was a success, and we were able to purchase computers and UPS systems for the school.

On 10th July 2025, our team carried two brand-new computers and UPS units across the Neyyar Dam reservoir to reach the remote tribal village of Puravimala. The journey was a memorable one, reflecting the challenges these children face daily just to access education.

At the school, we were greeted by the warmth and excitement of the students—17 bright young children from Classes I to IV. With the donated computers, the school successfully set up a dedicated computer lab, giving students their very first access to structured digital learning. The lab is now powered by KITE (Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education) software, enabling interactive and engaging lessons.

The joy on the children’s faces as they explored the new systems was priceless. For many of them, this was their very first encounter with a computer. Teachers shared their gratitude, expressing how these resources will make a lasting impact on the education of their students.

Thank You

We are humbled by the support received for this cause and deeply thankful to everyone who contributed. The students of Puravimala Tribal LP School now have more opportunities to dream big, learn better, and step confidently into the digital world.

Together, we can continue to light the way for many more classrooms.
